March 2012 - Update of Thanksgiving
Dear Partners,
Praise Him! God is a GOOD God! Thank you, THANK you, thank YOU for your generous gifts and prayers which allowed me to attend OAC’s International Conference in Mexico. It was a WONDERFUL Conference.
Over fifty (50) evangelists from around the world were in attendance. It was such as blessing and encouragement to hear what God has been doing worldwide through OAC evangelists. There was also a “changing of the Guard” as Mr Robert Siakimotu (OAC New Zealand) demitted office and Mr Rob George (OAC Australia) was elected to the post of International President. He will be ably assisted by Mr David Proaño (OAC Ecuador). On behalf of OAC Jamaica, a BIG thank-you Robert for a job well done!
A particular highlight of this Conference was the acceptance of OAC Bahamas as a fully autonomous branch of Open Air Campaigners International. I am excited and encouraged because the Lord has allowed me to see the work that I started in 2008 come to fruition. TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Congratulations OAC Bahamas!
Before leaving for Mexico, I managed to fit in thirteen (13) school devotions reaching approximately 11,410 students. Along with the hospital ministry and the prison visits, approximately 3000 prayed decisions, and about 700 are enrolled in correspondence courses.
Praise the Lord!
I will be in Galina, St Mary for the week March 18-24 with a team from First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks out of Clearwater, Florida. Please pray that our ministry will be a great one! In our next update we’ll tell you about the experience.
Prayer request: Before leaving for Mexico, a visit to the ophthalmologist revealed that I have cataracts and will need to have them operated on. So, that’s our next challenge! Please pray that the Lord will provide the funds needed the operation.
All for Jesus!
Keith (for all)
